In this episode, Johanna chats with Jessica from WCFA and Chelsea Pearce from Martin Deerline about using in-field weather stations and soil moisture probes in perennial and annual forage situations. This project aims to find out how useful the data from these weather stations is to producers as well as tracking how moisture moves under forage-based systems and grazing.

Dr Lardner managed a research program focusing on beef cattle and forage research for the past 21 years and works as a professor with the University of Saskatchewan's Animal and Poultry science department.
